Barnet Homes is exploring the possibility of additional housing and public space improvements on the Grange Estate and surrounding area.
Barnet Homes is committed to the delivery of new affordable rented homes, ensuring the Council’s estates are used to help meet the Housing Strategy objective; to prevent and tackle homelessness by reducing the use of temporary accommodation and to help to deliver savings identified as necessary by the Council.
With this, Barnet Homes and the design team are following the Mayor’s Good Practice Guide to Estate Regeneration (February 2018) which advises direct and proactive engagement with as many residents as possible. Covid-19 has made this task challenging and the team have engaged with the community through regular newsletters, a website and on-line meeting. We are committed to in-person engagement in the near future now that government guidance has changed.
