What is Social Value
Our Social Value Policy sets out The Barnet Group’s approach when procuring new and existing services, and the expectations on our contractors.
The Public Services (Social Value) Act requires public service commissioners to consider how their decisions can deliver wider benefits for communities.
Social Value refers to the positive contribution an organisation makes to society through its activities. This includes creating social, environmental, and economic benefits for residents and the wider community, ensuring that its operations generate meaningful and lasting impact.
